ESG502 Shock Resistance Oil Pressure Gauge

ESG502 line Shock Resistance Oil Pressure Gauge with damp oil filled inside the gauge, the buffer has excellent shock resistance ability. It is well suited for measuring those medium which has strong pulsation or pressure concussion or service medium which disappear suddenly in the manufacture, or for the situation which shock fiercely.

ESG502 can measure the average value of the pulsing pressure of the gas or liquid, so that it can avoid the damage which is caused by the strong pulsation and violent shock and insure the measurement precision.

The outer case of the stainless shock resistance pressure gauge is made of stainless steel material, which can be used in the environment which has strong corrosion and violent shock.

Installation and Commission

In accordance with the general technical regulations for pressure gauges (e.g. EN 837-2). When screwing the instruments in, the force required to do this must not be applied through the case, but only through the spanner flats provided for this purpose, and using a suitable tool.

For parallel threads, use flat gaskets, lens-type sealing rings or profile sealings at the sealing face. With tapered threads (e.g. NPT threads), sealing is made in the threads using additional sealing materials, e.g. PTFE tape. The torque depends on the sealing used. In order to orientate the measuring instrument so that it can be read as well as possible, a connection with clamp socket or union nut should be used.

If the line to the measuring instrument is not adequately stable, a measuring instrument holder should be used for fastening (and possibly via a flexible capillary). If vibrations cannot be avoided by means of suitable installation, instruments with liquid filling should be used. The instruments should be protected against coarse dirt and wide fluctuations in ambient temperature.

Technology

Gauges with bourdon tubes are the most common pressure measuring devices used today. They combine a high grade of measuring technology, simple operation, ruggedness and flexibility with the advantages of industrial and cost-effective production. Needing no external power supply, bourdon tube gauges are the best choice for most applications.
Bourdon tubes are radially formed tubes with an oval cross-section. The pressure of the measuring medium acts on the inside of the tube and produces a motion in the non-clamped end of the tube. This motion is the measure of the pressure and is indicated via the movement.

Standard Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

These Bourdon tube pressure gauges like the lines of ESG501 are suitable for liquid or gaseous media, which are not highly viscous or crystallizing, so long as they do not attack copper alloy parts. The measuring range covers -0.1~0~ 1,000 bar.

Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge with increased Shock Resistance

Bourdon tube pressure gauges with increased shock resistance are manufactured and equipped entirely with Silicone oil or Glycerine which make the ESG502 line reach shock resistance grade of V.H.4

Stainless Steel Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

ESG503 Stainless Steel types are suitable for the measurement of pressures between -0.1~0~ 1,000bar in gaseous and liquid, not highly viscous and non-crystallising media – and also in aggressive environments which has strict requirement of corrosion-proof and anti vibration.
